When designing a variable layout for the 4-up postcard we suggest to design the single postcard first with all varable data software plugins attached.

Design your post card as a 9 x 6 without a bleed. Then in production, imposed this one up design without gutters or margins - centered on the sheet.

This will show the 6 x 9 post cards side by side without any gaps between them. Remembering that most printers will leave a 1/8" white border on all sides, please allow for this in your design.

If the post card requires a bleed, you will trim your 9 x 6 design my 1/8" on all sides.
(or a 1/4" gutters and the 1/8" white border)

Avoid designing graphics 1/8" from all outside edges,
1/16" from all die-cuts around the face of the magnet,
1/8" from the edge of the film patch on the back of magnet.
